Tom Segura and his wife, Christina Pazsitzky, inspire each other’s work.
The Cincinnati-born comedian met his wife on the stand-up circuit in the late 1990s, but they didn’t begin dating until a few years into their friendship.
The pair got married in 2008 and share two sons: Ellis and Julian. Tom and Christina have also worked together, co-hosting the podcastYour Mom’s Housesince 2010, on which they talk about their relationship, funny internet videos and interview other comedians.
Tom has discussed their marriage and family life in his solo work, too. In 2011, he shared his key to a happy marriage during theJust For Laughsfestival, joking that “intimidation and fear” are how he and Christina make it work.
The podcaster has also revealed that he and Christina use their children as an excuse to get out of events and social obligations. In an interview withThe Dadin 2018, Tom said, “I love it when someone’s like, ‘Can you make it to this thing?’ I’ll be like, ‘Nah, Christina’s out, and I have to watch my son.’ They don’t even question it.”

She’s a stand-up comedian

She has two one-hour stand-up comedy specials on Netflix,Christina P: Mother Inferior, andChristina P: Mom Genes, in which she discusses motherhood, getting older and her childhood. Christina frequently tours across the U.S. and Canada, too.
She met Tom in the 1990s

Christina and Tom first met while they were both young comedians in the 1990s. Speaking on theTigerBellypodcast in 2018, Tom explained that they were friends first and performed at open mic nights together.
However, she was in a long-term relationship at the time, and when it eventually ended, Tom asked her out on a date. Christina initially turned him down, but she later asked him out, and they began dating.
For a few years, they spent a lot of time apart due to their respective careers and would only see each other a couple of times each week.

Christina often references her marriage in her comedic material, sharing common obstacles others may also face. Duringher first Netflix specialin 2020, she opened up about enjoying Tom’s humor but noted that he isn’t the best at finding items in their home and often leans on her for help.
“I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s fantastic,” she said before jokingly adding, “And, then all day, every day, I want to punch him in his dumb face.”

Christina has two children with Tom: Ellis, born in 2016, and Julian, welcomed in 2018. Both comedians often talk about their children and parenting in their work but generally, keep them out of the public eye.
However, before Julian was born, she described Ellis as the “best thing that ever happened to me” and “the love of my life," also calling herself a “fierce mama wolf.”

She has a dog, Bitsy, and used to have another,Feefo, who died in 2019. A few months before her death, Christina shared a photo of both pups onInstagramwith the caption “TBM to when Bitsy was a puppy and Feefo barely tolerated her existence.”
