Sydney SweeneyandMaude Apatoware the best of friends!
The on-screensisters stepped out for dinner in New York City on Sunday, Feb. 2. Both dressed in all black, Sweeney and Apatow walked arm-in-arm to grab a bite out in SoHo before attending the New York Rangers game at Madison Square Garden.

The pair have been vocal about their tight-knit friendship in the past after meeting on the set ofEuphoriaover six years ago. InPEOPLE’s 2022 edition of The Beautiful Issue, Sweeney and Maude revealed that they have been inseparable since they met.
“Everyone knows that if I’m not in my trailer, I’m in Maude’s or if Maude’s not in hers, she’s in mine,” Sweeney said. “She’s the sister I always wished I had.”
Whether they’re on set working or hanging out in their pajamas, the two said at the time that they are always having fun together.
“We found relief through the dancing on TikTok,” Sweeney explained. “When we got bored, we did some moves. We’re very much homebodies. I don’t think we’re that cool!”
They also said that with the rise ofEuphoria’s popularity, it was comforting to have one another to lean on.
“Whenever we have a stressful day, knowing that we have each other to talk to is really nice,” Apatow explained, with Sweeney adding that she is “one of the kindest actresses I’ve ever worked with.”
Apatow returned the compliment, gushing that Sweeney is “the most on top of it, hardworking, incredible person to work with.”

“It’s surprising that we are able to create the friendship,” she continued. “It’s so hard, not just as girls, to have friendships in our industry because we’re constantly traveling and moving from one project to another. You don’t have that much time to really nurture a friendship. WithEuphoria, we spend so much time together.”
Apatow agreed: “We’re so lucky we work on a show that we’re proud of and like to work on.”

Sweeney later uploaded aseries of photos on Instagramfrom behind the scenes of the PEOPLE photoshoot.
“My ride or die,” she captioned the carousel of photographs, adding a single red heart emoji.
