“You know, we are working — I think I said this to you before, us five are working on something that’s going to be announced soon,” the singer continued, referring to her January visit to the talk show in which she said the band was “actually going to be releasing some really good news in about a few weeks that involves all five of us.”

The formerAmerica’s Got Talentjudge also alluded to the “Wannabe” band’s announcement being on a larger scale than*NSYNC’s recent reunion, which included releasing the single"Better Place"for theTrolls: Band Togethersoundtrack, severalpublic appearancesand aguest featureonJustin Timberlake’s new albumEverything I Though It Was.“I love *NSYNC, but yeah, no — this is going to be really good. And the fans are going to be really happy about it,” the best-selling author said.

It was ultimately when Bush Hager, 42, asked, “Can we go see you on tour?” that Mel B realized she may have said too much. “You’re going to be able to—” began Brown before she cut herself off and cringed.

She shared that the logistics of getting the entire group back together proves to be challenging because “there’s five of us and we’ve got five different diaries, and we’re all parents. Still, Brown reassured that they were “actually going to be releasing some really good news.”

The Spice Girls last reunited in 2019 for a13-date tour of the U.K.— but Beckham, 49, didn’t participate in those shows.
