The model and actress adds that Perry “wanted Zac Efron, who’s played him already to play him again because he said he did such a good job.”

Perry, 54, wasfound deadat his Los Angeles home on Saturday after anapparent drowning. Law enforcement sources told TMZ there were no drugs found at the scene, nor any signs of foul play.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson later told PEOPLE on Saturday that officers responded to a call at Matthew’s address regarding the death of a male in his 50s, though authorities would not confirm the deceased’s identity.

It continued, “In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
