Sculptor Bob Wysocki and geologist Jeff Karson , both withSyracuse University ’s Lava Project(previously ) , teamed up with London - based alt - culinary duoBompas & Parrto stage a cookout with the molten liquid of an artificial lava menstruation . The unusual heat source can give temperatures of 2100 ° F – plenty hot to roast a couple of ribeyes and some ear of corn .
