Gisele Bündchenis helping to support her daughter’s passion for horseback riding.
While speaking to PEOPLE exclusively in New York City following a panel for her newGaia Herbspartnership, the model and cookbook author, 43, revealed that she’d purchased a horse farm where her 10-year-old daughter Vivian can ride her horse, Item, in privacy.
“Because I was taking her riding at this place, and every time I was taking her there, it became paparazzi central. I was like, ‘I can’t live like this. I want to be enjoying with my daughter.’ " Bündchen says of her decision to buy the farm.

“This should be a fun thing that we get to do together. So I was like, this way, I can have her practice what she loves…” she tells PEOPLE.
The mom of two, whose debut cookbookNourishis available for pre-order now, also says that her daughter is already angling to get another horse.
“He takes care of Vivi and I like that because he’s a very easy horse,” Bündchen says of Vivian’s horse, Item. “But she’s already like, ‘Mom, I have to have a new horse to jump higher.’ I’m like, ‘Calm down.’ ‘I’ll work, Mom. I’ll work and I’ll help you.’ "
“She’s like, ‘I need to jump higher.’ I’m like, ‘You’re 10, calm down. Your horse jumps like a meter, 20. You’re going to be fine. I think it’s fine where you’re jumping right now,’ " Bündchen shares.

Bündchen recently joinedGaia Herbsas the brand’sWellness Ambassador, where she’s sharing tips on how to incorporate the types of organic herbal remedies she grew up with in rural Horizontina, Brazil, into people’s busy American lifestyles.
”Sometimes, we can get so disconnected from our bodies because we are running away from ourselves, so we just keep adding more things for us to do,” she says. “Give me anything to eat, give me anything to drink. You’re just in this mode. I feel like whenever you can bring yourself back into feeling your body and just being present, it’s great. You’re kind ofinyour body and you’re really present. You’re breathing, you’re connecting.”
She also shared several picturesearlier in the summer from her family’s Brazilian vacation, including a picture of her and Vivian singing karaoke together.
