So among about a billion other thing expose about the CW ’s burgeoning DC television cosmos , the getup for Robbie Amell ’s Firestorm was on showing at the Television Critics Association event this weekend , and , uh … well , let ’s just say it was not what I was expecting .

Mainly because it seems to be a hoodie with some shit glue on the front .
gift that Arrow , the Flash and the Atom ’s costume all look reasonably good , I fully admit I was expect something a bit more … telling for Firestorm , who of late debuted on The Flash . I mean , this does n’t even search like a particular hoodie . The homo can basically dress himself on fire ; does this thing have some variety of flaming retardation power ? And what ’s with the circle - and - dots doohickey ? I screw it ’s a nod to Firestorm ’s comics costume , but it ’s over the zip . Is it part of the material ? Does it detach in some fashion ? And if it does , then what the underworld is it there for at all ?
Look , I know this is a uncanny affair to quibble about when talk about a character who can soak up himself in flaming , but that ’s actually a pretty normal matter in the DC universe . But as far as I bed , zippers work the same mode in the DC universe as they do here . So yeah , only one of these two thing is challenging my sense of incredulity .
