Browsing the web on a console is kind of a dazed idea . That ’s what we have PCs for . But if you must , here ’s our take on theOpera / Wii browserversus thePS3 ’s web browser .
hand down the Wii user interface is better than the PS3 ’s , thanks to the remote control . I really enjoy footle on my sofa with one arm flicking around pages . None of this mouse or joystick business organisation . And in conclusion when compare to using the PS3 ’s controller the Wii is a air to typewrite with . award it ’s no keyboard , but a welcome improvement .

But while flash videos played very well on nintendo.com , YouTube vids got no dear . That ’s a sad thing , as its the phone number one website we ’d care to learn aside from the PC . And the PS3 excels at this . And more .
Edit I tried YouTube later today and for whatever reason it ’s working for me now . So there you go , YouTube+Wii=<3 Now I bonk one of the more hoped-for characteristic was flash support . I establish mixed results with this . At wii.com I find the ostentation videos there work utterly . However when I went over to Youtube it state my package was either incompatible or too one-time . So they have some work to do there . Again , this is beta . Now onto what pop off wrong . First off , the Wii ’s lower res ca n’t address modest text on entanglement pages nearly as nicely as the PS3 running in 1080 . And there is a thick-skulled black streak that goes around the top and sides of the screen , seemingly for no reason . Two , there is n’t a permanent destination bar . To type in a new website you have to go back to the start page . That is completely unneeded , peculiarly with this useless black saloon train up blank . Now I do n’t want you to get the idea in your psyche that the web internet browser was poorly gestate , it was n’t . There are just a few thing in the way of it going from unspoiled to great . Hopefully by March when the final candidate is released it will feel a lilliputian more dressed . When that pass , we ’ll drop our final verdict . For now , we pose the interrogation . WTF are you doing browse the World Wide Web on a console ?
