Ray Harryhausen was the give up - motion special effects pioneer behind movies like Mighty Joe Young , Jason and the Argonauts , and Clash of the Titans . And while his creations were impressive on the screen , it ’s equally singular to see Harryhausen creating and manipulate them in his studio apartment .
