This materialize all the time , but the strange thing about today was that the tweets were coming from Musk’sverified account . And nearly identical tweets were coming from accounting of people like Bill Gates , Jeff Bezos , Kanye West , Joe Biden , Barack Obama , Warren Buffett , every major crypto - exchange , and I ’m speedily losing lead of all of ‘ em .
This is plainly the event of a Twitter political hack the like of which we ’ve never see before . A spokesperson for the social web told Gizmodo that they are mindful of the office and will come out a statement shortly , which they did right before issue .
