I scoot this with a wide-eyed slant lens at a low slant for capture the ferris wheel and a salutary destiny of Amanda ’s profile in the same shot . I did encounter lens flares that bled into Amanda ’s visibility , so I corrected those in processing .

Mohawk in Philly
I ’m still raw to have a DSLR , so take in a probability to really have fun with the vulnerability configurations was a existent kickshaw ! Well , almost . I wound up not being capable to fritter this until Sunday due to a snowstorm . I wanted to capture just how busy Philly is , so I stood instantly in the middle of Broad Street . For about 30 minute , I endure near 20 arcdegree temperatures without most auspices , and it was n’t until the end I got the shot I want . At one point someone begin eye up my tv camera , which had to be the most wild part of fritter this , frostbit be damned . Fishing
I originally did n’t conceive I was going to be able to participate in this week ’s competition , but I decide to make an impromptu head trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo here in Chicago ( on the namesake ’s birthday , no less ) . I was there to mostly use a duo film photographic camera , but number across this tank of Pisces in the Africa showing and thought of this week ’s contest . Putting the DSLR on a small pocket - sized tripod set on the floor , I need a smattering of test shots to get the ripe amount of movement with the fish , I proceed and stand in front of this paries of Pisces , and then I used the wireless remote control on a 2 second delay . So yeah , a short bit of a self - portrait here . Canon T2i , EF - S18 - 55 mm f/3.5 - 5.6 IS kit lense , f/5.2 , 2 sec . vulnerability , -2/3 exposure bias .

Before the Accident
For this weeks shooting challenge I desire to make all the hustle and bustle I could with movement . After some train shots , some street corner shots , and some long waits with no help . I make up one’s mind to tend out into the middle of the road with the content and hope that neither of us got rack up by a automobile . The postdate is the result of that action . Also , it ’s cold in Chicago . shoot on a canon 60d 18 - 135 mm Lens . f/4.5 , 1/6th iso:320 , raw . I did some cropping and color adjustment in Lightroom .

The Puppets Are Real
My stirring for this shot come from work in cease - motion animation . And the sport ( but creepy ? ) idea that the tool are real short mass in there , just stand up still while we move them around . I tried to show the chaos of exalt with my hands all over these guys . They were heavy sports , while I sat in the coloured retaking and tweak this setup ! I used my Nikon D3000 and a remote . And I believe at this level I had the shutter open for 15 seconds .

Left Out
I had a severe time with this challenge . We went to several spot and I found that I do not have a steadfast hand to test and give hold the shot during a long exposure . Therefore , I wanted to use a tripod , unfortunately , the location that we drop dead to did not allow them . Then I learn the ice skating rink and thought that since it was out of doors , I could use it . It was very cold-blooded out and this was the last fix of the solar day to try and get the shot . This is the one I came up with , luckily , moments before being told to take down my tripod . shoot with Nikon D3100 .
ISO 200 , Exposure .5 sec at f/25

Seat Post Screw
I ’ve been waiting to do this stab for a longsighted time , so now i at last found the need to do it , i was thinking in was n’t going to be possible without a gorilla cod or some custom made camera holder to impound to the bike , but when i inspected my bicycle i saw the piece of tail that hold up the seat post was very similar to the camera screw , so i just had to buy a ass that was precisely for the camera , some nuts and bolts to concord the camera still , and it was ready .
I tried the shot mighty aside but only after 1 second exposure it looked all snowy , i waited until past the afternoon and it start rain down , i waited but it did n’t cease , it was just second until the last natural igniter disappeared into the all yellowish colour of street inflammation , so as ridiculous as i might look i had to take an umbrella to protect the photographic camera and ride my bike with my umbrella and remote shutter in one helping hand , wile going down the street try unlike exposure times with the shutter , the camera make a fiddling besotted , you may even see some drips on the lens , but in the end i liked this crack , its not the just of them all technically speaking ( i get more steady and intimately focussed gibe ) , but this is the one that i rule visually superior , it experience more active , looks more adventuresome with all the pelting , and has a better mood with those colors . Canon 20D , Generic shutter , 15 secs picture , ISO 100 , Camera jump on on Seat post have intercourse .

Headphone Party
It ’s a great surprisal that you pick this topic . I really wish the technique , it ’s quite rare and fascinating . And I really care this photo . It was a spontaneous estimate at a very strange event , so this is my best here . It ’s hard to believe that I ’ll do any well again if it try and plan this form of shot .
The story anyway – once a year Israeli Museum in Jerusalem hosts a very strange case . It involves all kind of unusual artists , performers and so on and wholly takes out the usual ( boring if you necessitate me … ) dusty and inactive museum environment transubstantiate it into a unearthly and cool party . Yes , nighttime party at a history museum .
They ’ve host a headphone company . Pictured here is my friend Ron , who has a unique ability to instantly dive into the party and take off dance like mad ( with no inwardness involved ) . So , aside from technological stuff and camera preferences , there was the challenge to keep him still for 13 irregular . Nikon D90 / 18 - 105 kit lens , ISO 320 ( manual of arms ) , F/4 , Gorillapod , Photo straight from the tv camera , no PS adaptation .
